As we begin the 2025–2026 Scouting year, I want to take a moment to reflect on how far Pack 57 has come and where we’re heading next. Over the past year, our pack has continued to grow in both size and spirit. We welcomed new families, saw our Scouts achieve new ranks, and watched friendships form that stretched across dens and grades. From camping at Schiff to hiking at Bethpage, and racing cars down our derby track, every event reminded us of what makes Scouting special: teamwork, adventure, and the joy of learning something new together.
This year promises even more excitement. We have more campouts planned, fun Pack Nights in the works, and community service projects that will help our Scouts live the Scout Law in meaningful ways. Our dens are working on creative activities that will challenge our Scouts to try new things, take on leadership roles, and explore the outdoors in new ways.
What makes Pack 57 truly special is our community. Our leaders volunteer their time to make every event memorable, and our parents continue to show incredible support. Together, we’ve created a place where every child can feel welcome, learn valuable skills, and have fun along the way.
If you’re new to Scouting or thinking about joining, there has never been a better time. Whether your child loves building, hiking, helping others, or just having fun with friends, there’s a place for them in Pack 57.
We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and even more excited for what’s ahead. Thank you to all of our Scouts, parents, and leaders for helping Pack 57 continue to grow, explore, and thrive. Here’s to another year filled with adventure, laughter, and discovery.
Here’s to more adventures, more learning, and more fun planned for the 2025-2026 scouting year!!
Yours in Scouting,
Will Elnick
